About Bruce Schwartz

Bruce Schwartz began his career as an actor/singer and starred in and/or directed more than one hundred productions throughout the country.

He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and won the prestigious Lincoln Center Award for the Performing Arts in 1969.

Always the writer, he also authored six musicals, most recently, Apple Annie. In 1978 and 1979, Mr. Schwartz assisted the producers of the Broadway musicals, On the Twentieth Century and Sweeney Todd, before producing Canterbury Tales in 1980.

He left Broadway shortly thereafter to get married and start a family, along with a new career. Since, he has authored three children's novels, The Mystery of The Oogilly Boogilly, The Ultimate Dare, and Another Fine Mess, as well as two suspense/thrillers, The Twenty-First Century and The RH Factor.

Bruce Schwartz has received numerous accolades for his accomplishments in the arts. He was selected to be in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who in Entertainment.

He is married and lives in Connecticut with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his next novel and a made-for-TV movie, Innocence Lost.
