The Twenty-First Century is a book that captures the hearts and minds of the American people. It is bone chilling scary, a great thriller. Everyone should read it because it shows you the unconventional ways America can be attacked and not just the obvious ones.

Spotlight Reviews

It so good when you find a new author
  Reviewer: Leslie from Cranston, RI

I'm a big fan of thrillers. Some of my favorite authors are Ken Follett, Robert Ludlum, Michael Connelly, and Vince Flynn. I am now adding Bruce Schwartz to that list. What an easy book to read. It's so much about what is happening in the world today that it takes your breath away. The author keeps you guessing with his twists and turns, and every character's plight is interesting. It was like I was watching a movie in my head. Everyone is right about this book. It was absolutely the best!

I'm Not Really a Reader, but . . .
Reviewer: Mary Cafferty from Flagstaff, Arizona USA

My friend made me read The Twenty-First Century. I didn't want to, but after reading the first chapter I was hooked. I just had to know what happened. Who is this Bruce Schwartz and when is his next book coming out? If you read one book this year, this is the one. You won't be able to stop. I guess I've become a reader. Thanks Mr. Schwartz.

I Hate Reading, But . . .
Reviewer: A reader from San Francisco, CA USA

I never read, but after hearing Bruce Schwartz being interviewed on the radio I was so intrigued by his book The Twenty-First Century that I bought it as a gift for my room mate. All through the book, she kept raving about it, so of course I had to see what all the hoopla was about. Would you believe I started it one morning on my day off and finished it that night? It was the best book I ever read. The characters and their plights seemed so real as if I knew these people. I was frightened about what could happen to our country and our way of living, and I was fascinated with Senator Sam Howard's platform on how America could be changed for the better. There are so many levels to this book, so many insights, and so many emotions. The best thing is, I no longer hate reading. I can't stop thinking about the story and I worry it's going to happen here just like it did in Spain before their election. Thank you Mr. Schwartz for that wake-up call. Everyone should read this great book.

Finally, a book with characters you care about
Reviewer: A reader from Evanston, Illinois

The Twenty-First Century is a rare book, one that comes along once in a blue moon. I purchased it because of all the wonderful reviews on Amazon.com and I wasn't disappointed one bit. It's amazing how the public knows what's good and bad. Well, this book is great. I loved Jane Weisser and Moses McBride. I hated Sayyid Kassim and Garrison Miller. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time rooting and worrying. Everyone should read this book because it's a book about America's enemies attacking the U.S. and starting a war here right before a presidential election. Exactly what's going on right now! Could it happen? Many believe it's going to happen. I'll bet you sooner or later everyone in the country will be talking about The Twenty-First Century. It says in the author bio (in the back of the book) that Bruce Schwartz's next book is called The RH Factor and will be out next year. I can't wait to read it.

Everyone's Right About This Novel
Reviewer: Robert Whittier from West Orange, NJ

I saw some people on the plane reading The Twenty-First Century, then I saw some people on the train reading it. I'd never heard of this book so I looked it up on Amazon. The reviews were unbelievable, so I bought a copy. It's extraordinary! The plot is a little too horrific for me, but the characters are so rich that I, like everyone else who reviewed the book, couldn't put it down. Sometimes you find a gem among the glass. This is one of those times. Soon, this will be on the NY Times bestseller list.

Nothing More Need Be Said
  Reviewer: Mark from Dallas, Texas

Amazing! Simply amazing! (And what an ending.)

As good as the DaVinci Code
Reviewer: A reader from South Bend, Indiana

What can you say when you read a book that you think is happening as you read it. This is what happened with The Twenty-First Century. Bruce Schwartz knows how to grab your imagination and manipulate it to where he wants it to go. Kudos to the author. I'll never forget this book. The only negative thing, which stopped me from giving it 5 stars, is the sexual violence. It left me breathless and shaking. I hope this becomes a bestseller, and I think it will. We finally have a writer who writes in a style different than anyone else. It's as if you're watching a movie, or even living it for real. You want to know what happens to every character. Thank you, Mr. Schwartz.

A new Tom Clancy has arrivedStill waiting??
Reviewer: A reader from Boise, Idaho

I read this book straight through. The characters were so well-defined, so believable, so interesting, that I felt I knew each one personally. The plot scared the bejeebies out of me because it felt so real, and it can happen to our country anytime. Bruce Schwartz (and I can't wait to read another of his books) has written a book that you can see happening right in front of you. There are twists and turns and an ending that is great. Anyone who loves edge-of-tour-seat reading, this is the book for you. The movie is going to be a blockbuster smash. What a great book!

I could not put it down...!!
Reviewer: A reader from Paducah, KY United States

Mr. Schwartz draws from today's headlines to create a work of fiction that quite frankly is the best book I've read in 2003. He draws you into a story that seems as if it is jumping off the page to the evening news. His articulate style and spell-binding story telling will not allow you to walk away until the final page. Bravo Bruce....you have managed to forge a true winner out of the constant stream of literary dribble that has flooded the market since 9/11. I can not wait for your next offering.
